Huh?

“I think Jesus was a compassionate, super-intelligent gay man who understood human problems. On the cross, he forgave the people who crucified him. Jesus wanted us to be loving and forgiving. I don’t know what makes people so cruel. Try being a gay woman in the Middle East — you’re as good as dead.”

RESORT.....doesn't always mean NICE.....

Hunter and I decided to take advantage of the nice long weekend and visit St. Augustine - The Nation's Oldest City! I was hoping to go somewhere else, but that is another story.....

So when I was booking our hotel online - I THOUGHT I had found a great place! I mean with words like BEACH and RESORT in the name, you would think it would be a nice spot to spend a long weekend. Welllllllll, it wasn't.

The first thing we noticed was possible blood on the door.....

As you can see, the security system on the door was AMAZING

Yes, we felt very safe.

108....not so great

Everything that was "silver", was rusted

Hmmmmmm, what is that?

Broken.....AND held together with masking tape.

Not only is the toilet GROSS, you had to GET INTO the shower, to close the bathroom door

Interesting patch job

You could see outside....through the side of the door

And the pool was 1/2 empty.....loooong drop for a kid on the slide.

The good news is - after a full day of sight-seeing, we got there late, so all we did was sleep, wake up and check out. Oh, did I mention there was no hot water either? DELIGHTFUL!

The city of St. Augustine was soooooooo cool! Hunter and I had a great time and will definitely be back again! However, we will stay in the historic district the WHOLE time and not get fooled by the sweet words of BEACH and RESORT ever again! Those GREAT photos will be up in a day or two!

Bored? BEWARE!

According to a study from University College London, you really can be BORED TO DEATH.

In the 1980s, a pair of researchers from University College London wanted to find out if boredom could affect a person's health. So they surveyed 7,500 civil servants in the UK, and asked them if they'd been bored at work in the past month.

Then last year, they followed up on the study to see where the civil servants are now.

What they found is that those who reported they were bored at work were TWO AND A HALF TIMES more likely to have died of a heart problem.

In other words, boredom actually CAN kill you!!

Roses....what do they mean?

Valentine's Day may be a SHAM HOLIDAY, but who doesn't like to get flowers!

--With that in mind, here's a basic guide to flowers and the meaning of each color:

--RED flowers symbolize romantic love, passion, desire, and eroticism. And the darker the red, the deeper the love it symbolizes.

--BLACK flowers symbolize a loss, but they can also mean elegance, power and mystery. Plus, sending black flowers is a great way to freak someone out . . . you know, if you're kind of a psycho.

--WHITE flowers symbolize purity and family. They're ideal to send to a family member or close friend.

--YELLOW flowers symbolize friendship and happiness, and can be used to express congratulations as well.

--GREEN flowers symbolize fertility.

--PINK flowers signify femininity, sweetness, and charm.

--PEACH flowers signify appreciation, and sometimes gratitude.

--ORANGE flowers symbolize fascination and maybe a hint of mischief. If you're into someone but you haven't told them yet, send orange flowers.

--LAVENDER flowers symbolize trust and nobility.

--And BLUE flowers typically symbolize peace and tranquility. But they can also be used to express trust and contentment.

And now you know!
